DESE has introduced a new PreK-6 Digital Literacy and Computer Science (DLCS) license that is earned through a competency review. In response, CSforMA has developed a 9-day CS Resources for K-5 Educators workshop designed to meet the computer science (CS) competencies for the DLCS PreK-6 license where educators engage in hands-on activities with physical computing devices and explore foundational computer science lessons from a variety of no-cost curricula. For educators who have no experience with CS, CSforMA also offers an Intro to CS for K-5 Educators, a 3-day workshop that allows educators to learn CS concepts as students.
