Description
In coming to this session, we will dig deep on how to create positive relationships within the classroom. Our story shares how this past school year we leaned into more identity work for all students through our advisory program. All activities led up to a school wide design challenge with a driving question around “How can we spark wondrous learning at HHS?” Some activities included kindness targets, Ikigai work, use of Innovator’s Compass, Smart Goals, AI activities with Padlet and good old “old school” prototyping for final projects. The purpose of this workshop is to show how more than ever CRT and SEL work is so important as education continues to evolve post covid. When there is deeper work about who we are as people leads to more respect and understanding of one another as humans. The session will have some engaging tech tools in connecting with the audience, sharing our story with examples and a toolbox of resources for participants to take with them.
