Participants will learn programs to use with students. I will describe how I have collaborated with teachers and SLP to support the use of AT in the classroom. The specific tools will be demonstrated. A discussion of the importance of training. Recommendations for writing IEP goals and documenting supplementary aids and services. Goals • learn three computer programs/applications that provide accommodations for students who struggle with generating text •learn three tools that are in those programs and make the programs/applications accessible to students with learning differences • learn how they may include the use of AT in the IEP Process 1.Introduction of presenter, review plan for session 2.Describe Clicker Writer, Book Creator, Read & Write extension 3.Participants learn how to access free teacher accounts. 4.Demonstrate how to access speech-to-text, voice recording and image search in the programs 5.Wording for goals in IEP. 6.A student will demonstrate skills with these tools.
