In this Ed Talk, Technology Directors and Network Managers from Wilmington Public Schools and Norton Public Schools will share the process of moving away from on-prem PBX's and to the cloud for telephony. We will focus on safety improvements, integration of existing infrastructure, the substantial simplification in overall telephony management. Additionally, there will be a focus on the improved school safety that was gained as well as accountability and privacy for all school communication. Each of the districts will share their story of their catalysts, the solution they identified, their particular migration journey. Participants will recognize immediate parallels to their own school and district, will walk away with tangible factors to consider, and potential solutions to implement. This will be an interactive multimedia panel discussion with the focus on informational exchange.
