In coming to this session, participants will learn about key concepts and strategies around what the perfect blend of teaching entails. Through a mix of philosophies including design thinking, project based learning, social emotional learning, culturally responsive teaching and now AI, how can we as educators create meaningful learning experiences for students in 2024 and beyond. The purpose of this workshop is for educators to reassess what is working and what may not be as education continues to shift with AI currently at the forefront of buzz words. The workshop will open up with an icebreaker with AI tool, our personal story with AI and educational experiences and show solutions and strategies for any content area. Our goal is for educators to be able to create learning opportunities where students own their learning, have a voice and choice in completion of assignments and show them the bigger picture and connection to curriculum.
