Through an interactive presentation and the ability to handle many of the different projects that my students have made, I am hoping to give new ideas about different technology options to Educators and STEM directors.I intend to focus on 3-D Printers, Lasers, and Cricuts. Participants will also go on a virtual tour of our Makerlab, to showcase how any space can become a great resource for your students. Participants will learn -How to evaluate new tech and make smart decisions about where and when to buy it. -A list of proven technology options that are available at this time. -Getting creative and innovative with new technology to maximize the return on your investment -How to build a Makerlab on a budget of under ,000.and how to systematically add different tech options to your program so the initial investment can be spread out over a number of years. Objectives -To empower educators to be able to make smart, informed choices about adding technology to their schools.
