Main Objectives: 1. Introduce Scenario Crafting -Explain the concept of scenario crafting and its importance in education. -Highlight how it can be used to stimulate creativity and critical thinking in K12 students. -Use of future thinking as a way to help decrease student anxiety. 2. Showcase Assistive Technologies -Demonstrate the use of assistive technologies like Speechify and large language models (LLMs) in scenario crafting. -Highlight how these technologies can support diverse learning needs and enhance engagement. 3. Playground -Engage participants in a hands-on scenario crafting activity. -Use assistive technologies to illustrate the process and benefits. -Make art to go along with the future scenario we create 4. Promote Collaboration -Foster a collaborative environment where educators can share ideas and strategies. -Encourage group discussions and brainstorming sessions to apply learned concepts.
