The workshop will delve into the challenges of implementing MTSS at the secondary level, drawing heavily from Whitman-Hanson Regional School District's experiences. 1. Participants will be provided a timeline of laws and DESE regulations related to MTSS. 2. Participants will gain firsthand knowledge about the Whitman-Hanson Regional School District’s successes and challenges at the secondary level. 3. Participants will receive practical suggestions about implementing MTSS at the secondary level which they consider for their own schools/districts. We will begin with a review of laws and regulations. Then we will turn to WHRSD’s MTSS Journey K-12, beginning with elementary and the introduction to the WIN block concept. Next, we will present the evolution of WIN at WHRSD Middle Schools and conclude with the High School, highlighting the role of technology at the high school. To ensure active engagement throughout the workshop, we will include peer discussion and question and answer.
