This presentation is designed to equip educators with the essential knowledge and skills to effectively utilize AI tools in their teaching. Educators will be able to leverage technology to enrich their teaching methods, promote inclusivity, and stay adaptive in the ever-changing educational landscape. Participants will explore familiar AI tools including Chat GPT and Gemini, but will also discover lesser known tools such as Conker.AI, Merlin, Questionwell, Diffit and Curipod. Educators will acquire strategies to create compelling and engaging learning activities using digital tools, fostering deeper and more active learning. Participants will be guided on applying instructional design principles to craft innovative and captivating digital learning environments that support and stimulate student learning. Educators will develop critical skills to navigate the evolving field of AI, enabling them to make well-informed choices about adopting and implementing the most effective tools.
