Heather Hannon has been inspiring young minds in Massachusetts for over 15 years, teaching grades 6-8 in English Language Arts, reading, and reading intervention. With a passion for blending literacy and technology, Heather has also had a blast working with K-5 students as a technology teacher, proving that learning can be fun and interactive! As a mentor, team leader, and club advisor, Heather loves nothing more than helping students discover the joy of reading through creative strategies and tech-savvy tools. Most recently, Heather secured a grant from MassCUE to bring Makey Makey and Backpack kits to the classroom, and can’t wait to showcase this exciting project at this year’s conference!
