Dr. Edward Reynoso grew up in Lawrence, where his Dominican immigrant parents instilled in him the value of education. Inspired by their support and his teachers’ belief in him, he is committed to uplifting the community through education.

His career began as a crisis counselor at Arlington Middle School, working with at-risk students, which motivated him to pursue a Master’s in School Counseling and a Doctorate in Leadership in Urban Schools from UMass Boston. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Reynoso has held various administrative roles in Lawrence Public Schools, including assistant principal and principal at BMF, where he helped transform a Level 4 middle school into a Level 1 school.

Currently, he serves as the principal of the Upper School Academy at Lawrence High School, dedicated to fostering a growth mindset among students. He believes that education can empower youth to achieve their dreams, emphasizing the importance of high school graduation and college attendance.
