Description
Using the MUSE laser etcher students are currently focused on making clocks, which requires some very precise measurements for cuts and overlays. The students used some of their experiences as part of a recent One 8 Applied Learning Hub presentation at the New Balance center. Students work in groups of four using software, templates, measuring tools, and Google slides. They will talk about mocking up projects and the steps to create accurate cuts and prints. Students in our classroom, a regular education 4th grade room, make a myriad of items with the laser etcher ranging from charcuterie boards to analog clocks.
