10 AI Tools to Be an #A11y Ally: Designing Accessible Classrooms
Description
Every educator wants every student to succeed. But accessible classroom design still gets treated as a specialist concern rather than a shared practice. This session challenges that assumption. Participants rotate through demonstrations of 10 AI-powered tools that support accessible content creation, communication, and learning design across grade levels and disciplines. Each station connects to a practical implementation strategy and an equity reflection prompt drawn from the Be an A11y Ally framework, a practitioner-developed approach to embedding accessibility into everyday instructional decisions.
