How often does high-quality professional development stall once teachers return to their classrooms? Discover how Instructional Coaches and a Digital Learning Specialist extended the impact of a traditional professional development by creating a digital mentor that is available 24/7. We will share our collaborative success story of leading a workshop on "Opportunities to Respond" and then piloting a Gemini chatbot to create custom AI coaches that analyze teachers’ lesson plans and provide instant, actionable feedback on how to implement OTR strategies into their instruction. The integration of the Gem was so successful that administration used it during follow up PD sessions. Participants will move beyond theory into action by brainstorming ways to extend PD/coaching goals digitally. Then, they will learn how to build a custom Gemini Gem tailored to their specific coaching goals and leave this session with a digital tool ready to support your teachers.
