Active Learning, Healthy Minds: Using Technology to Get Students Moving
Description
Technology does not have to lead to more sitting and passive learning. In this interactive session, participants will explore ways digital tools can support movement, wellness, and active participation in the classroom. We will share examples of brain breaks, movement-based review, fitness challenges, and student-centered routines that increase focus, engagement, and well-being. Participants will examine strategies that work across grade levels and content areas and discuss how to balance digital learning with physical activity in meaningful ways. Attendees will leave with practical, classroom-ready ideas that help students stay engaged, build healthy habits, and connect learning to physical and emotional wellness.
