This session will begin by role modeling UDL! Participants will engage in a choice board activity to build their knowledge of GenAI tools, UDL, and choice boards! Then, the presenters will present an overview of how GenAI tools, in alignment with the UDL framework, can be used to create more inclusive and accessible learning materials, experiences, and environments. Participants will then interact with a Gemini Gem designed by the presenters that will help them identify ways to bring UDL and choice boards into their practice immediately. Then, they will brainstorm ways to use GenAI tools to remove learning barriers, support learner variability, and enhance instruction. By the end of the session, participants will be able to: 1) Identify at least 3 different ways to incorporate UDL and/or choice boards into their practice; 2) Use a GenAI tool to assist with the design of an inclusive, accessible learning resource or experience; 3) Design a UDL-aligned learning activity.
