Vibe Coding for teachers (no experience necessary!)
Description
Purpose: Empower K-12 educators to build custom learning apps tailored to their students—no coding required!
Subject Area: Highly relevant to all subjects (Math, Science, ELA, History, etc.).
Objectives & Content: We will dive into "vibe coding" with Google Gemini. Participants will explore the Gemini Canvas interface, master prompt engineering, and transition from basic AI queries to designing fully functional, customized educational tools. We will also discuss the best way to share these resources with students (Google Sites, App Hive, etc).
What You'll Learn: You will learn how to use AI to differentiate instruction and deploy a custom web app designed specifically for your classroom.
Active Engagement: Attendees will actively engage by writing and refining prompts in real-time, testing generated code within Canvas, and collaborating with peers to walk away with a ready-to-use tool!
