Last school year, Foxborough High School launched a nine‑lesson AI literacy sequence for all 9th graders—an initiative designed to help students understand, question, and responsibly use the AI systems shaping their daily lives. This session brings participants inside that work: how the curriculum was designed, how each lesson scaffolds core concepts for freshmen, and the classroom-tested strategies that made abstract AI ideas accessible to mixed‑ability learners. Attendees will walk through the full instructional arc, exploring how students engaged with topics such as chatbots, bias, data privacy, facial recognition, and environmental impacts. By the end of the session, participants will have a clear understanding of the essential concepts for a 9th‑grade AI literacy curriculum and a complete, adaptable model they can bring into their own classrooms, advisory programs, or schoolwide initiatives.
