Digital Tool Make & Take
Description
Last year, my elementary students designed real playable learning games that were coded into a school math game hub. If they can do it… you can too! In this high-energy Make & Take session, we are learning to vibe code with plain language in Gemini Canvas. Our objective is to empower you to create custom digital tools that fit your exact classroom needs. We will start by playing and interacting with real vibe-coded games to spark your imagination. Next, I will lead a live, step-by-step tutorial demonstrating exactly how to vibe code a classroom tool from scratch using computational thinking prompt templates. Then, it is your turn to build. You will receive resources, support, and dedicated work time to design and vibe code your own interactive learning experience. Finally, we will come together to share our creations and crown a Vibe Coding Champ (or two)! Bring your device and leave with a tool you can use tomorrow.
