From Crisis Mode to Calm Classrooms: Using EdTech to Support Student Wellness
Description
Many schools are stuck in crisis mode. Student stress, behavior concerns, and disconnection are rising, while staff are often left reacting instead of preventing. This interactive workshop will help educators and leaders move forward with practical, edtech-supported systems that build safer, calmer classrooms. Participants will explore how simple digital tools, shared routines, early-warning data, and team communication systems can support student wellness, behavior, and engagement. Through real school examples, reflection, and small-group problem solving, participants will identify one classroom or school challenge and map out a proactive support plan. Attendees will leave with a simple framework they can use right away to: notice early signs of student struggle, strengthen predictable routines, use data to guide support, and create team-based responses that help students feel safe, seen, and ready to learn.
