Description
Join Hicksville Public Schools to discover how our approach to AI balances innovation with ethics, rooted in our Core Beliefs and Values. This interactive session focuses on maintaining human-centered learning while leveraging real-time insights from Microsoft Power BI dashboards and agentic AI tools. Learn how educators can create tailored instructional resources and differentiated support to meet the academic and linguistic demands of all learners, including English Language Learners and students with special needs. We will also address common implementation challenges, sharing how we use professional development, a digital citizenship curriculum, and transparent policy-making to navigate district hurdles. Finally, we'll explore strategies to help students critically evaluate AI outputs; preserving creativity, empathy, and deep thinking in an AI-augmented classroom.
