Developing Student-Centered Processes with AI
Description
This session offers a strategic roadmap for scaling AI by leveraging existing school schedules and professional development to empower educators and support all learners. Using the 2024 National Educational Technology Plan and Knowles’ Adult Learning Principles, we will explore how to bridge the "Digital Design Divide" through purposeful and intentional professional learning. We will leverage existing structures—such as PLCs, team meetings, and MTSS—to build AI capacity and enhance instructional practices through Universal Design for Learning (UDL). By exploring NotebookLM and Gemini Gems, participants will:
Develop a roadmap for sustainable professional learning that bridges AI adoption with UDL principles.
Build an understanding of Gemini Gems and NotebookLM and how these tools can be customized to improve student learning outcomes
