Description

In an age where technology shapes every aspect of our lives, empowering students to be ethical, informed, and responsible digital citizens is more important than ever. This session will equip educators and librarians with practical tools, free resources, and research-based strategies to embed media literacy, digital citizenship, and critical thinking into everyday instruction. Grounded in the Future Ready Framework, this interactive session explores the intersection of media literacy, student-centered learning, and family engagement. Participants will engage in small group discussions, polls, and collaborative activities while gaining actionable ideas and amazing resources for navigating misinformation, promoting online safety, and fostering digital agency in both school and community learning spaces.
