Research and Writing in the Age of AI
Description

Artificial intelligence is changing how students find information, conduct research, and communicate their ideas. This session helps educators rethink research and writing instruction for an environment in which students have immediate access to generative AI. Participants will explore strategies for using primary and secondary sources, evaluating information, developing research questions, constructing evidence-based arguments, and using AI appropriately throughout the research and writing process. The session emphasizes preserving student thinking and voice while helping students develop the skills necessary to research, write, and communicate responsibly in an AI-rich world.
