Marvin Venay is the Chief External Affairs and Advocacy Officer at Tech Goes Home (TGH), a leading Massachusetts-based nonprofit committed to closing the digital divide through community-centric programming that provides learners affordable internet access, a digital device such as a laptop or tablet, and culturally inclusive training on navigating both.
Drawing on his two decades of public and private sector experience, Marvin leads efforts to engage local, state, federal, and business stakeholders on the impact of digital inequity to collaborate to advance policy solutions that address technology access, internet connectivity, and digital literacy. Marvin also oversees TGH’s partnerships and recently launched the TGH Community Fellows program, bringing together learners and instructors to become strong advocates for digital inclusion.
Before joining TGH in 2021, Marvin was a co-principal of Public Goods, a political consulting firm, and held leading positions in the Massachusetts state government. He is the Chief of Staff for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Eastern Region and Head of the Ministry Department at Morning Star Baptist Church. Marvin is married with two children.
