From Data Overload to Actionable Insight: Harnessing NotebookLM for District-Wide Impact
Description
As leaders, we are "data rich but information poor," having mountains of data but lacking time to synthesize it into action. This session explores how our district uses Google’s NotebookLM to transform static data into a dynamic thought partner, grounding AI analysis in trusted documents.
Participants will learn high-impact K-12 workflows to:
• Analyze Data: Identify trends, gaps, and subgroup performance in MCAS results without spreadsheet fatigue.
• Synthesize Feedback: Aggregate Learning Walk data and process PD feedback to plan sessions teachers want.
• Create Resources: Generate standard-aligned assessments from curriculum documents.
Bring a de-identified dataset (PDF, Doc, or slides). We will guide you through curating sources and using targeted prompts to extract evidence-based insights.
You will leave with a custom AI workflow prioritizing student privacy and evidence-based decision-making. Stop drowning in data and surf the wave of AI insight!
