Dr. Ellen Martin is a distinguished educational leader with over 25 years of experience dedicated to student achievement, social emotional wellness, and systemic growth. Currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent for Marshfield Public Schools, a role she has held for 15 years, Dr. Martin has also provided vital leadership as Interim Superintendent during key transitions. Her career spans a range of critical roles, including Director of Teaching, Learning, and Technology, Assistant Principal, and Elementary Teacher, giving her a unique perspective that connects classroom instruction with district-level strategy.
Dr. Martin earned her Doctor of Education from Northeastern University, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Bridgewater State University, and both a Master of Education and a B.A. in Psychology from UMass Boston. Her expertise includes change leadership, curriculum development, professional learning, mentoring and induction, and grants management. Grounded in the belief that collaborative leadership is the foundation of school improvement, she has a proven track record of leading teams of educators to success and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
