Kerry Gallagher is an educator – with 25 years of experience in public and private schools – dedicated to effective teaching, digital wellness, and online safety. She is currently the Assistant Principal for Teaching and Learning at St. John’s Preparatory School. The Teaching and Learning Team that Kerry leads at St. John’s facilitates professional learning and instructional coaching that supports teaching development in all areas. Kerry is Director of Education for ConnectSafely, an internet safety non-profit. She authors ConnectSafely’s weekly research-based Digital Wellness Tip, and has co-authored several of their award-winning guidebooks. Kerry serves on the Online Child Exploitation Prevention Initiative (OCEPI), the most comprehensive online safety group in the U.S., leveraging her expertise as a parent, teacher, school leader, and attorney to protect students in the digital age.
