Tom is currently in his 7th year of edtech residency at Concord Academy, concurrently serving as the Director of Educational Technology with OunceIT. After two decades as a classroom teacher and technology integrationist, driven by an insatiable curiosity for diverse educational philosophies, Tom embraces his role and the wider lens on innovation across area K-12 schools it affords him. His career spans years of experience within top-flight independent schools across California, Washington D.C., North Carolina, New England, and Switzerland. Today, his work vacillates between collaborating with faculty, strategizing with school leaders, and engaging with students to spark innovation while nurturing digital well-being. As a practitioner of his own focused efforts towards achieving tech balance and digital wellbeing, when not working, Tom enjoys unplugging in nature and playing sports with his twin children.
