AJ Melanson is a dedicated educator and leader committed to fostering a culture of innovation and removing learning barriers through technology. Currently serving as the Instructional Coach for Technology Integration at Concord-Carlisle High School, AJ previously spent nine years as the Director of Educational Technology and K-8 Technology Department Chair for Milton Public Schools. Throughout his career, which includes over a decade of teaching and leadership roles in both Massachusetts, Georgia, and North Carolina, he has specialized in Personalized Learning, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and data-driven instructional strategies.
AJ is particularly passionate about Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), frequently presenting on Grading for Equity at regional conferences, including MassCUE. Recently, he has been at the forefront of educational AI, developing comprehensive Artificial Intelligence guidelines and curricula to build AI literacy and promote ethical use among students and staff.
AJ holds a Master’s degree in Education from Niagara University and carries certifications as a Superintendent, K-12 Principal, DLCS, and Business Education.
