Description

The digital world is supposed to be a great equalizer, but for close to one million people in Massachusetts -- including students and their families -- who lack access and fluency, it's anything but. Pathways to educational opportunity, healthcare, economic mobility, and more are cut off by lack of access to digital devices, internet, and digital skills. For more than two decades, Tech Goes Home (TGH) has been committed to closing the digital divide in Massachusetts with a comprehensive, community-led approach that enables once-digitally disconnected individuals and families to thrive. In his keynote remarks, Marvin Venay, Chief External Affairs and Advocacy Officer at TGH, will discuss the current state of digital inequity in Massachusetts, critical strategies for sustainable digital inclusion, and how we can support educators in the effort to expand access for students and families across Massachusetts.
