Description
As concerns about student screen time grow, schools are being challenged to look beyond simply measuring minutes. From smartphone restrictions to instructional technology and AI, how should schools balance access, engagement, and student well-being? This panel brings together education and research leaders to examine the role of policy, digital literacy, and intentional implementation. Building on new federal guidance, the discussion will explore how schools can distinguish meaningful technology use from distraction and determine when the answer is to legislate, educate, or both.
